Special Events
Storytelling has been part of special events since the first story was shared around a campfire. Stories bring us together to share in the experience together, and nothing does that quite like the collaborative storytelling of a tabletop roleplaying game.
As we discuss in our FAQ, tabletop roleplaying games are called tabletop games because they are designed to be played with a group of friends around a table. Whether it’s a birthday party, pre-wedding celebration, family reunion, or just a good time together with good people, eliminate the stress of running and hosting the game by hiring our Storyteller for your special event!
We can have our Storyteller join digitally in a virtual event, or come to your location to bring the magic to you! At this time, we do not have a public venue available to host in-person games.
We recommend:
- A shorter-duration game, such as one of our One-Shot modules or One-Page RPGs that are meant to be completed in a single sitting
- We don’t want to dominate your entire event (unless you want us to), or leave you on a cliffhanger!
- Groups of 3 – 5 players in each special event group
- We may be able to modify some games for larger groups. At this time, we do not have multiple Storytellers to run parallel groups
- We want everyone in the group to have a chance to participate in the collaborative experience
Not finding the right fit, or want to do something extra-special? Contact us, and we can discuss modifications and customization, such as a special adventure leading up to a proposal or extra highlight on a guest of honor. Find your next adventure, and lets tell a story together!
Pricing is influenced by travel time to and from the location, the duration and logistics of the event, work required for our Storytellers to prepare for your event, and other factors.
Our Storytellers have ultimate discretion over their schedules and commitments. We reserve the right to decline any booking request for any reason, including Storyteller discomfort with the proposed material or other details of a proposed commitment. Our Storytellers do not authorize the use of their voices to train AI, consent to simulated versions of their voices trained from recordings, or authorize AI editing of their vocal performances. Our Storytellers do not consent to being filmed, photographed, or otherwise recorded, especially without their immediate knowledge. All commissioned work, including but not limited to vocal or live performance, published work, and complex special events may require a separate contract which will include payment requirements, deadlines, format, rights, and other necessary information.
Team Building
Collaborative storytelling is a team effort, and helps to reinforce friendly, productive team dynamics in a way that helps everyone have fun and express themselves. Learn about your team and their unique strengths in a low-stress, low-stakes environment by playing a tabletop roleplaying game, hosted by an experienced Storyteller!
